Robin's Nest Playschool

Quality Care and Learning for Every Stage of Childhood

At Robin’s Nest Playschool, we offer a variety of programs designed to meet the developmental needs of children from infancy through school age. Our programs provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and build the skills necessary for future success. Through age-appropriate activities, hands-on learning experiences, and caring relationships, we help children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Infant Program
Our Infant Program provides a warm and loving environment where babies receive individualized care that supports their physical, emotional, and developmental growth. Daily routines include feeding, tummy time, sensory exploration, language development, and nurturing interactions that help build trust and security.

Toddler Program
Toddlers are naturally curious and eager to explore their surroundings. Our Toddler Program encourages learning through play, discovery, and hands-on experiences that support language development, social skills, self-help abilities, and early problem-solving skills.

Preschool Program
Our Preschool Program focuses on preparing children for future academic success while encouraging creativity and exploration. Children participate in activities that promote early literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music, and social-emotional development in a fun and engaging environment.

Pre-K Program
The Pre-K Program is designed to help children build the skills necessary for a successful transition to kindergarten. Through structured learning experiences and hands-on activities, children develop critical thinking, communication, independence, and school-readiness skills while continuing to learn through play.

Before & After School Care
Robin’s Nest Playschool provides reliable before-school and after-school care for school-age children. Our program offers a safe and supportive environment where children can complete homework, participate in recreational activities, build friendships, and enjoy enrichment opportunities before and after the school day.

Emergency Backup Care
We understand that families sometimes face unexpected childcare needs. Our Emergency Backup Care program offers temporary childcare solutions when regular care arrangements become unavailable due to school closures, caregiver illness, work emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Summer Program
Our Summer Program provides children with an exciting blend of learning, recreation, and adventure during the summer months. Designed for school-age children, the program offers engaging activities that keep children active, curious, and connected while school is out of session. Children enjoy themed learning experiences, arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, special events, and opportunities to make lasting friendships.

Summer activities may include:

  • Weekly themed programs
  • STEM and science exploration activities
  • Arts and crafts projects
  • Outdoor games and recreation
  • Water play activities
  • Reading and literacy enrichment
  • Team-building activities
  • Special guest presentations

Field Trips
Field trips are an important part of the Robin’s Nest Playschool experience. Throughout the year, children have opportunities to participate in educational and recreational outings that extend learning beyond the classroom. Field trips help children explore their community, discover new interests, and connect real-world experiences with classroom learning.

Field trip destinations may include:

  • Parks and nature centers
    Museums and historical sites
  • Libraries
  • Community events
  • Farms and agricultural centers
  • Educational attractions
  • Recreational facilities
  • Cultural and seasonal events

All field trips are carefully planned with children’s safety as our top priority. Parents will receive advance notice and permission forms prior to participation.

Quality Rated 3 Star

Georgia’s Quality Rated is a voluntary, statewide evaluation and improvement system for early care and education programs, managed by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL). Much like the familiar star ratings used for hotels and restaurants, Quality Rated assigns participating child care providers a one‑, two‑, or three‑star rating based on a comprehensive assessment of quality indicators that go beyond basic licensing requirements
